| Five and a Half is a Brooklyn based bookmaking and design studio started by Judy Lee in the spring of 2006. She has created a line of functional, lightweight journals made completely of sustainable materials. Each journal is filled with pages of sugarcane fiber and postconsumer recycled paper, a textweight surface ideal for writing, drawing and painting, while leaving the planet's dwindling supply of trees untouched. Each journal is 5" x 7" and includes 75 pages. Each also has a little pocket in the back to store all of the little pieces of paper you find on your journeys! We love these so much and hope you will too! |

| red chair studio | christine herron of red chair studio creates the most beautiful patterns and then silk screens them by hand onto scarves, bags, business card holders, sachets & more. currently we have some scarves and business card holders and are expecting more from her this winter. we really love them and think you will too. red chair studio is based right here in wakerfield, rhode island. all pieces are 100% silk. |

rose kauffman is a local rhode island graphic designer turned jewelry designer! she designs our lovely little website and in her spare time makes these simple and beautiful necklaces. they have been so popular in town that we decided to try them out on the web. they are PERFECT for this time of year, just a little something to add to any outfit, casual or fancy. they are great for layering...or wearing alone. each drop necklace is made from tiny japanese delica glass beads, a chalcedony faceted center bead, a stong wire cord, and a sterling silver clasp. and...the cute little bird necklace is made from a shell bird bead, red polymid cord (super strong), and a sterling silver clasp. we hope to be getting a wider variety of the drop necklaces soon so keep checking in. each necklace is completely handmade and there are only a few of each so don't delay! see more |
