Orange Lola is full of unique artists, many of them from Rhode Island where we are based and many from other parts of the country. We love to support artists and designers wherever they may be and to include them in our shop. Here is a little information about the artists we show on orangelola.com. If you are an artist and are interested in showing your work on our site let us know via email!

plainMADE and chelsea heffner
Chelsea Heffner is a multi-disciplinary artist currently residing in Portland, OR and the creator of plainMADE (visit her blog!) She is however a Rhode Island native and we miss her dearly. She's just finished graduate school this year and is in to a bit of everything it seems. Through the mediums of painting, printmaking and textile design she explores the rituals embedded in everyday experience. We are currently showing off some of her watercolors, and will have even more of her work soon!

julia riordan scherer
"A painting can dominate the space you put it in. It can be the reason you do what you do to your room. You can choose a painting and then use it as the sole inspiration for the rest of the room's decor." Wise words from Julia. Her paintings are all animal themed and very bright and playful. Julia's paintings are amazing and we are so happy to have discovered a really great way to reproduce them as prints. They seem to be perfect for any room and work especially well in kids rooms! We offer 1 size on our site but any print is available in any size so just let us know!

nonchalant kids and carina schott
Carina Schott is the creator of Nonchalant Mom and now her very own children's line, Nonchalant Kids. She has a longtime background in the fashion industry and has spent time working all over the place...from California to Italy to New York and finally to Rhode Island. She's a great friend and neighbor to Orange Lola. We used to share a brick and mortar store on Main Street right here in Wakefield, RI. Her line of clothing for kids ranging from 12 months to 8 years old is so beautiful and she uses all organic materials and vegetable dyes.

Christine is a RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) graduate and also a local Rhode Islander. She is an amazing painter and textile designer. From her studio comes a bunch of amazing work, ranging from jewelry to scarves to bags. She is one of the most multi talented people we know and we love selling her scarves on our site! We're currently sold out thanks to her NY Times holiday feature but will be putting some new scarves up soon. You can visit her website here!

robin mollicone
Born and raised in Rhode Island, Robin currently lives in New York city and teaches at Pratt...and of course makes tons of jewelry! Her attention to detail and elegant handiwork is becoming recognized all over the place and we are so proud to showcase her work right here at Orange Lola. Ranging from super sophisticated to funky and chic, there is a perfect piece for everyone. (p.s. Robin is also one of the founders of Orange Lola!)

rose kauffman
Rose is a graphic designer/jewelry maker living in Rhode Island. Her background includes a little bit of everything from design to food to the world of online business! She loves making simple necklaces and finds it to be a therapeutic balance to all of the business of the day. She also sells her necklaces locally at All That Matters, a local yoga center in town. Originally from Pennsylvania, Jonathan has been in Rhode Island long enough to be considered a local. His background is in clay and illustration and his pottery is extraordinarly well crafted and designed. Each piece is thrown on a potters wheel, carved, decorated, glazed and fired by him and by hand. His cups and bowls are the perfect addition to any kitchen collection.
